The Progressive Tribal Alliance
Jackie Lincoln, one of four siblings, comes from a rich lineage of Native American artistry and craftsmanship. Her mother, Beatrice Pollard, is a skilled artist specializing in Native American crafts and a proud Numu of the Gitatkud band, known as the Paiute Indians. Her father, Bernold Pollard, is a talented craftsman of Nomlaki and Koyomkowi heritage and a descendant of a Trail of Tears survivor who relocated to what is now known as the Round Valley Indian Tribes in Covelo, California. Jackie is a lifelong craftswoman with expertise in tanning hides, master beadwork, shell working, basket weaving, and traditional Native food processing. She began beading necklaces, crafting crowns, and making regalia at the age of 14 and continues to refine and perfect her artistry today, preserving and honoring her ancestral traditions.
